February ‘23 in Review

February was a lovely month. I launched my new website, participated in a book club, and my husband and I celebrated our 3rd anniversary with a fancy date. We’ve had lots of cold days but I know that spring is just around the corner and I’m here for it.

I love this time of year where I live because we’re surrounded by blooming almond orchards and it smells amazing outside. Not to mention they are stunning! It reminds me of Anne of Green Gables when she renames the Avenue “The White Way of Delight.”

As for the book club, I am really enjoying it. I like that it holds me accountable for finishing at least one book each month and stepping out of my comfort zone when it comes to reading. Also, it’s just fun to talk about and share a love for reading with other bookworms. Speaking of books, you can find my reading wrap-up for February here.

Creating this website has been a lot of fun. I previously used WordPress for blogging but, so far I like Squarespace better. It’s very user-friendly and the templates are so minimal and beautiful. However, there is a bit of a learning curve after only ever using WordPress. I recently figured out how to set up the comment section so now you can leave comments on my posts! Also, I want to send out my posts through email but Squarespace requires a business address and I don’t want my personal address to be visible to just anyone. So I’m still trying to work through that. Hopefully, I can find a solution. I’ll keep you updated!

I hope you all had an amazing month! Now, on to March.
